This is an early-stage summary of how MontaStay handles personal data. It will be expanded into a full policy before public launch.
When you submit a tenant inquiry or an owner property intake, we collect the details you provide — such as your name, email, WhatsApp number, stay dates, budget, and property details. We also collect basic, privacy-friendly analytics about how the site is used.
Tenant inquiries are used to screen and forward serious requests to the relevant property owner or manager so a viewing can be arranged. Owner intakes are used by our team to verify and build listings and to contact you about your property. We send an internal alert to our team when a new inquiry or intake arrives.
We do not store raw identity documents or biometric data. Any future identity or “liveness” verification is handled by specialist third-party providers — MontaStay does not keep copies of passports or ID images.
A property's exact address is treated as private and is never shown on public pages or in the public data sent to your browser. Only an approximate area is displayed publicly.
MontaStay operates with awareness of Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal data you have submitted by contacting us.
